Fast-talking comedian Roy Wood started performing standup when he was only 19. While we’re not entirely sure what his jokes were like back then, he surely hasn’t matured. He still adopts strange, childish vocals when he makes jokes about “overly nice waitresses” and the trials and tribulations of turning 30. He’s been on the usual assortment of TV talk shows and is a regular on the TBS show Sullivan & Son ; he performs tonight at 7:30 at the Cleveland Improv, and performances continue through the weekend. Tickets are $17 to $20. (Niesel)
