Roughing it: When Strongsville was a Frontier Town
When: Tue., April 25, 7-8 p.m. 2023
Former Strongsville Historical Society Historian, Valerie Mattingley, will share this special look at Strongsville as a frontier town. This presentation is not about names and dates and buildings. It is a collection of events that paint a picture of life in the woods and dirt, with wild animals around. We will touch on why people came here, what the journey was like, what it took to hack a town out of the wilderness, how people made a living, and what they did for fun. This program is sponsored by the Strongsville Historical Society. Please register online for this program.
