Rodents of Unusual Size

One of the more unusual films on the schedule for the Capitol Theatre’s annual Fall Doc Film Festival, Rodents of Unusual Size centers on the giant 20-pound rats that have invaded Southern Louisiana. The film follows people who kill the rats for money as well as people who cook them and eat them and even a group that turns their fur into bowties. Despite the topic, the filmmakers take a free wheeling approach, and the film is a real blast. It screens at 7:30 tonight, and co-director Quinn Costello will attend the screening and participate in a Q&A afterwards. Tickets are $9.75. (Niesel)
