Sinister yet soulful, rapper Rittz got his first big break in 2010 when he appeared on Yelawolf’s “Box Chevy” single; the Georgia rapper then released heavily hyped mixtapes White Jesus and White Jesus Revival. On last year’s The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant, he established himself as a real wordsmith and his rapid-fire delivery distinguished him from other rappers. The album’s single “Switch Lanes” featured underground star Mike Posner. Rittz is putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming studio album Next to Nothing, so expect to hear some new tracks from it. The tour also features Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang member Tuki Carter and Seattle rhymer Raz Simone. (Niesel)
