During the Thatcher era in Britain, filmmaker Richard Billingham lived with his alcoholic father and chain-smoking mother. It was a particularly rough period in his life. With his new film, Ray & Liz, he recreates that time period. A hit at this year's Cleveland International Film Festival, the movie shows tonight at 8:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets cost $10, or $7 for Cinematheque members and students. (Niesel)
