Radkey’s debut Cat and Mouse is a refreshing sound of pure punk with a mix of rock ‘n’ roll. This trio succeeds at playing really loud and really fast with guitar grinding and drum mashing. The band experiments with an aggressive sound reminiscent of Misfits and Death, which happens to be two of the band’s influences. The single “Cat and Mouse” is a good song with a great guitar solo, but “Out Here in My Head” os the one that sounded the best with cool tempos and great vocals beginning to end. Another standout is their anthem ‘N.I.G.G.A, Not Ok,” a song that attacks social and racial issues. (Aziza Doleh)
