Poetry in Motion

Co-founder of Market Garden Brewery’s Brews + Prose literary series, Cleveland poet Dave Lucas, will give a reading tonight in the Guilford Parlor on the Case campus. Lucas won the 2012 Ohioana Book Award in Poetry for his debut collection Weather. The poet describes himself as a Cleveland evangelist, which is apparent in some of his work. You can check out Lucas’ poem “Lines for Winter” online which might hit a little too close to home for some Clevelanders still getting through the effects of the polar vortex.
