Poetry+ featuring Ray McNiece & Michelle R. Smith

Poetry+ will triple your pleasure in December with readings by two acclaimed featured poets - Ray McNiece and Michelle R. Smith - plus an open mic. Ray McNiece is a slam champion, musician and the author of 9 books of poetry and monologues, including New Haiku and Love Song for Cleveland, a collaboration with photographer Tim Lachina. Michelle R. Smith is a black femme feminist, media activist, who teaches college and high school kids. An open mic emceed by Ohio Beat Poet Laureate John Burroughs will follow the features.
