PLAYscape! is a new program sponsored by NWPL at the company’s Balch Street Theatre Space. On the last Saturday of each month, the company will host a series of interactive theatre adventures, landscapes, and escapes. Create puppets and masks. Learn about storytelling and movement techniques. Explore yoga, history, science, and current events. Come and play with some of Akron’s most innovative artists and discover the magic and mystery of theatre. This series of community and family-oriented adventures promises to engage kids and adults of all ages. Workshops range from 60-90 minutes and begin at 2pm.
