Party in the Park

Ward 2 Councilman Zack Reed has gotten plenty of bad press lately, but he deserves kudos for the 10th Anniversary of Family Unity in the Park, the annual event he hosts at historic Luke Easter Park. This year's event will also include the largest health fair in Northeast Ohio. Mobile units and booths from the area’s premier healthcare providers will be on hand to offer free screening services for blood pressure and diabetes. In addition, nationally and locally acclaimed musical artists like the Dazz Band, The Original Lakeside and Midnight Star will perform. The concert will conclude with a fireworks show. (Aziza Doleh)
