ORGAN RECITAL: A JOURNEY THROUGH CENTURIES

Evan Collins, organist at Washington Avenue Christian Church, will present an organ recital on Sunday, November 10, at 3 p.m. Listeners will hear works by Frescabaldi, Buxetehude, Bach, Hindemith, and more on a 2 manual 17-rank Kegg pipe organ. A reception will follow the concert. Collins, a 2019 graduate of Elyria High School, was a member of EHS' Pioneer Band and Madrigals and served as accompanist for three years. Currently a freshman at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, his past and present teachers include David Blazer, Nicole Keller, and Dr. Sungeun Kim.
