Brian Skerry has spent more than 10,000 hours underwater photographing the ocean. His images celebrate "the mystery of the depths" and offer portraits of creatures "so intimate they sometimes appear to have been shot in a studio." Once, he even lived at the bottom of the sea to take photos. Recently, National Geographic Books published Ocean Soul, a retrospective of the man's photos. Tonight at 7:30 at the Ohio Theatre, he'll talk about his career. Tickets are $25 to $45. (Niesel)
