NEO Sound Panel Discussion & Exhibit Opening

Tonight at 7, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Library and Archives will host a free event to celebrate its current project to process over 500 previously unavailable archival collections and make them available to the public. This event includes a panel discussion featuring NEO Sound donors whose collections have been made available through the project. Panelists will include musicians such as Chris Butler (Waitresses, Tin Huey, 15-60-75) and Marky Ray (terrible parade, Death on a Stick, Death of Samantha, Jim Rose Circus, New Salem Witch Hunters). The panel also includes photographer Dave Treat, who took some of the earliest images of the Dead Boys. The evening will conclude with a reception in the Library & Archives reading room, where attendees can view a new archival exhibit called Local Music U Want: Northeast Ohio Punk and New Wave. It showcases materials donated by the panelists. Admission is free, but a reservation is required. Go to the Rock Hall website for more info. (Niesel)
