Neave Trio

Since forming in 2010, Neave Trio has received praise for its "engaging, cutting-edge performances." The group has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall and 92nd Street Y and has also appeared frequently as soloists for Beethoven's Triple Concerto with orchestras across the country. It has held residency positions at Brown University, ArtsAhimsa Chamber Music Festival, San Diego State University and the Banff Centre. In the fall of 2017, the trio joined the faculty of the Longy School of Music of Bard College as an Alumni Artists, Faculty Ensemble-in-Residence. The group aims to champion new works by living composers and its most recent album, Celebrating Piazzolla, honors the music of Astor Piazzolla. At 8 tonight, the group comes to town to celebrate music by women composers and will perform at Praxis Fiber Workshop & Gallery, where it'll present works by four distinguished women composers spanning the romantic era through the modern day, including Rebecca Clarke's Piano Trio, Amy Beach's Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 150, Cécile Chaminade's Piano Trio No. 1, Op. 11 and Jennifer Higdon's Piano Trio.
