Near West Theatre Juneteenth Celebration

When: Fri., June 12

This event, the first of Near West Theatre's Summer Plaza Concert Series, will feature performances by Near West Theatre Youth Performers, Blakk Jakk Dance Collective, DOC Studios: Poetry & Spoken Word, Djapo Cultural Arts and AfroFunk Revölution. There will be resource tables, Juneteenth-themed crafts and food from Yum Village’s pop-up food truck. The event takes place from 5 to 10 p.m.
