My Cuban Experience/The Cuban Art Invitational

Opening with a reception from 6 to 9 tonight, the latest exhibitions at BAYarts focus on Cuba. BAYarts' Diane Boldman Education Gallery hosts My Cuban Experience, while the Sullivan Family Gallery hosts the Cuban Art Invitational. My Cuban Experience showcases a collection of artwork, photographs and souvenirs from local artists and friends of BAYarts from their travels to Cuba. The Cuban Art Invitational is curated by Cuban-born, Cleveland-based artist Augusto Bordelois and features Cuban artists living outside Cuba. Both exhibitions remain on view through Aug. 5.
