MXPX/Unwritten Law/Versus the World/FLF

MxPx started in high school; nothing too outstanding about that, because just about every punk band starts in high school. However, not many of those high-school punk bands can say they released their debut album through a legitimate record label while still in high school. And since then, MxPx has released nine albums in its 20-year career. They released their latest album, Plans Within Plans, earlier this year, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from a band that sticks to its skate punk subgenre. The nice way to put it: they stay true to their style. The not-so-nice way to put it: they made another album that sounds just like the rest. (Sam Mendez)
