Famously adapted to screen by Alfred Hitchcock and Fredrick Knott, Dial “M” for Murder tells the story of ex-tennis pro Tony Wendice who marries wife Margot for her money. Wendice discovers his wife is having an affair and devises a cruel plan to murder her. When everything does not go according to plan, can he improvise a deadly plan B? This psychologically suspenseful story has thrilled audiences for years. The Great Lakes Theater production of the play premieres tonight at 7:30 at the Hanna Theater; performances continue through March 22. Tickets are $15 to $70. (Kaitlin Siegel)
