Meet the Artist

A member of kick ass indie rock acts such as the Mekons and the Waco Brothers, Jon Langford is also an artist. He created all the logos for the Music Box Supper Club and he also did the artwork you see on the stairs as you walk up to the Concert Hall. Prior to tonight's show with Rhett Miller at the Music Box, he'll host the Jon Langford Pop-Up Art Show between 5 and 7 p.m. He'll display paintings and prints from his collection and talk informally about his work. Refreshments — Dogfish Head Burton Baton and other Dogfish rarities — will be served, and the artwork will be for sale. The pop-up gallery will remain open before, during and slightly after the concert. (Niesel)
