Take a moment, take a breath, take time, take care. These words close our upcoming concert series, Mediations and Mysticism, on October 26th and 27th, a program that invites us to find our center and reflect on the wonder that surrounds us. Medieval mystic Hildegard of Bingen’s chant draws us into this space. Britten’s beloved bestiary composition, Rejoice in the Lamb, celebrates the majesty of all creatures great and small. Philip Glass’s modern minimalism, in the final scene of Einstein on the Beach, delights in the magic of love.
