Mayumana: Currents
Inspired by the historical Battle of Currents that took place between Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla, Mayumana: Currents combines a variety of elements including specially made musical instruments, video art projections and skilled performers who play different instruments and juggle between different sounds to depict what that battle might've been like. The event takes place tonight at 8 at the State Theatre. Tickets start at $20. (Niesel)
