Lyceum Series: Tim Krynak: Where Have All the Bats Gone?
When: Fri., Jan. 29, 7-8:30 p.m. 2016
Tim Krynak, Natural Resources Project Manager at Cleveland Metroparks, discusses the devastating environmental impacts of white-nose syndrome. First documented in 2006 in New York State, white-nose syndrome was discovered in Ohio in 2011. Regionally, the disease has killed over 95% of some bat species. Mr. Krynak will also detail efforts by scientists to treat and revitalize decimated bat populations.
The Lyceum Series is a January-to-April lecture series with one program each month. Presented by the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park; Conservancy members can purchase all four lectures for $20!
