Loving Vincent

Directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welshman, with voices by Chris O'Dowd and Saoirse Ronin, Loving Vincent uses thousands of pictures hand-painted in the style of Vincent van Gogh to tell the story of the talented Dutch painter. The animated feature dramatizes the events that led to his death in France in 1890. The movie screens tonight at 6:30 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $10, or $7 for students and Cinematheque members. (Niesel)
