Lakewood Arts Festival

Fine art prints and paintings will be for sale at this annual event that takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Detroit Ave. from Belle to Arthur in Lakewood. Musical acts such as Postsaga, Gene Schwartz, Chris Allen, Country Honk, Maura Rogers and the Bellows, Opus 216 and Moon Echo Garden will perform. Originally founded in 1978, the festival funds local arts grants and an annual scholarship for graduating high school seniors from Lakewood. Additional grants for arts funding include The Beck Center, Lakewood High School. lakewoodartsfest.org.
