Killer Queen

Singer Patrick Myers formed Killer Queen on a whim. His aim was to properly pay tribute to the British classic rock act and he sought to mimic singer Freddie Mercury both visually and vocally. That was June of 1993. Killer Queen has been going strong ever since and the band has even held down a residency at London's Strand Theatre and represented Queen in a re-staged tribute Live Aid concert held by Sir Bob Geldof. Myers struts with the kind of confidence that the later Mercury had and his operatic vocals resemble Mercury's too. (Niesel)
