The son of a Vanderbilt professor, comedian Keith Alberstadt likes to joke that people who have rescue dogs are rather annoying because they often don't even know what breed their dog is, only that it's a rescue dog. "You don't do that with your kids," he says in one bit. "If someone asks how old your dog is, you don't say, 'I don't know. He's adopted.'" He regularly relies on sarcasm as a source of humor. He performs at 8 tonight and at 7 on Sunday night at Hilarities. Tickets are $18. (Niesel)
