Joe Lovano And Friends

A Cleveland native, sax man Joe Lovano attended Berklee College of Music was back in 1971, would move to New York shortly afterward. There, he became a member of Woody Herman's band. By the '90s, Lovano developed a good working relationship with the folks at Blue Note Record and regularly released new albums and even worked as his own producer. He doesn't play gigs in town often, so take advantage of this rare opportunity to see him. (Niesel)
