A Northeast Ohio nonprofit law firm, Legal Aid hosts its annual fundraiser today. This year's event features food, drinks and headlining bands composed of local attorneys and judges. Those interested can also bid on silent auction items through Legal Aid's website. Your price of admission will go directly to helping low-income families in the region receive high-quality legal services free of charge. These services help to work toward justice in the legal system for all people. Specifically, the aid goes to those whose health, shelter, safety or economic security are threatened by civil legal matters. The event will be held from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the Veranda connected to the Ernst & Young Tower in the Flats. Tickets are $50. (Halle Weber)
