The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is thrilled to welcome back the Israel Philharmonic to Cleveland to perform at the Joseph and Morton Mandel Concert hall. This special event marks the third time in almost twenty years that the IPO will perform in Cleveland and will help launch a year-long series of programs, Israel at 75, celebrating Israel’s 75th anniversary.
Led by its music director, Maestro Lahav Shani, the concert program will feature some of the classics composed by Russian Composer, Sergei Prokofiev: Prokofiev Symphony No. 1 (Classical); Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet (suite of 20 minutes); and Prokofiev Symphony No. 5.
