Intersections of Health Care: LGBTQ Care and Abortion
When: Mon., March 19, 6-8 p.m. 2018
LGBTQ-identifying people need access to culturally competent, safe, stigma-free health care—the same type of care that is often provided in abortion clinics. Join us for a conversation with Dr. Natalie Hinchcliffe, a specialist in family medicine, LGBTQ care, and abortion care. She’ll discuss the intersections and overlaps of LGBTQ needs and abortion care, provide resources for accessing care, and dispel some myths about LGBTQ health care.
Pending approval, social workers can earn 2 free CEU credits by attending.
This is part of Preterm’s Community Event Series, so it’s free and open to the public! No RSVP necessary. Parking is available.
