Comedian Jake Johanssen has led an interesting life, and he uses the stories of his bizarre experiences as fuel for his comedy. Like that time he went whale-watching with his seasick wife and daughter. He recommends reenacting the “spiritual” experience at home by sniffing an opened can of tuna, staring at nothing and throwing $50 out the window. Other topics of humor include climate change, buying hats and various clandestine adventures as a dad. He appears tonight at 8 at Hilarities with more shows scheduled through Sunday.
