CITY DOGS Cleveland volunteers created The Plankton Fund in memory of Plankton, a dog who came to the City of Cleveland Kennel in 2014 with late-stage heartworm disease. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Plankton Fund has since helped 84 dogs receive lifesaving heartworm treatment which would have otherwise been impossible due to the high cost of treatment.
