Heart-stopping blasts every thirty minutes from the veteran WWII submarine’s powerful five-inch deck gun should light up the lakefront and keep the Lake Erie monster at bay while visitors enjoy family-friendly tours of the submarine under the ruby red lighting used aboard ships after dark.
