Haiku Death Match

Sponsored by Heights Arts, the Haiku Death Match features eight "previously selected" poets who’ll compete against each other to be crowned Haiku Death Match Master. Audience members will decide whose 17 syllable poem wins. The “not-exactly-annual” event aims to raise funds for year-round literary activities organized by Heights Arts. The event begins at 7 p.m. at Dobama Theater. Tickets can be purchased online at heightsarts.org. or at the door on the night of the match. (Niesel)
