Comedian Gerald Kelly isn't your usual comic. In addition to the usual resume of television, film and live performances, he's also a community-minded philanthropist who works on two community initiatives: Calling All Fathers, which focuses on the importance of fathers being present in their children's lives, and Microphones Up, Guns Down, a youth development initiative that teaches young people how to use their gifts and talents to end gun violence in underserved communities. Now Kelly and his three sons are on the road: The Father and Sons tour stops this weekend at the Improv. Tonight's show takes place at 7:30. Performances continue through Sunday. Tickets start at $17. (Niesel)
