Gender Bender

Waterloo Arts continues its community program in relation to its current, transgender-themed exhibition with a free, public screening of the short film House, Not Home by Cleveland native Skyler Edge. The screening takes place at 6:30 p.m. today. House, Not Home follows Terran, a gender fluid teen, as he opens up publicly for the first time to his friends and family. As a result, Terran must deal with bullying and violence from his peers and rejection from a parent. The film was written by 16-year-old Skyler Edge, a junior at Facing History New Tech High School in Cleveland. House, Not Home is directed by Joshua Butler (Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars).
