Fun Home

Alison Bechdel wrote her best-selling graphic memoir, Fun Home, while she was a student at Oberlin College. The book became such a success that it became a Tony-winning Broadway musical. It centers on its protagonist, Alison, at three different ages as she "explores and unravels the many mysteries of her childhood." The play launches its national tour in Cleveland after receiving raves from critics and audiences who saw it in New York. It opens today at 1 p.m. at Connor Palace, where it runs through Oct. 22. Tickets are $10 to $90. (Niesel)
