Three-piece rock bands have been done: Nirvana, Blink 182, Green Day, the appropriately named Alkaline Trio. What sets From Borealis apart is their instrumental approach to the genre. That’s not to say the Akron band is in the same league as the aforementioned acts, but their try-hard attitudes are to be recognized and they’ve got the catchy, danceable rhythms to prove it.
