Fred Hersch

Fred Hersch is a 17x Grammy nominated jazz pianist. He has been an influential creative force over more than three decades as an improviser, composer, educator, bandleader, collaborator, and recording artist. This is a special solo performance in celebration of Fred Hersch's new ECM release "Silent, Listening," his 12th solo recording, produced by label founder Mandred Eicher. Hersch has been proclaimed "the most arrestingly innovative pianist in jazz over the last decade" by Vanity Fair and "a living legend" by The New Yorker.
