Fleetwood Mac

There was something old-fashioned about the way Fleetwood Mac casually arrived on stage earlier this year at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, the site of the first date of the band’s 50-date reunion tour. Playing together for the first time in 3 years, band members strolled onto the stage without any major hoopla (though drummer Mick Fleetwood had his arms hoisted high above his head as if he were a referee indicating a touchdown). The band played all its major hits (“Second Hand News,” “The Chain,” “Tusk”) and even slipped in a few new tunes from an EP that has just come out. Singer Stevie Nicks and singer-guitarist Lindsey Buckingham will likely work in a few solo tunes, too. Despite the layoff, these guys are on top of their game. Yeah, you could say Mac is back.
