Fleet Foxes/Nilüfer Yanya

With Crack-Up, the Fleet Foxes took their sweet ass time. The Seattle folk rock act waited nearly seven years to release the 2017 album, only their third, thanks to a three-year hiatus. Here, frontman/songwriter Robin Pecknold returns with a contemplative work completely recognizable to old fans, full of ethereal harmonies and lush instrumentation, yet heavy on experimentation and palpable maturity. The band is back on the road this summer, proving that indie-folk wasn’t just a fad, including a stop in Cleveland tonight. (Laura Morrison)
