Earlier this year, the Music Box Supper Club launched a new Film Cafe series. The club partnered with the Cleveland Film Commission and Cleveland State University School of Film and Media Arts for the series which offers "a fun environment for fans and other film industry pros to learn more about filmmaking from each other." Each month, a local film expert dissects a specific topic and lead a discussion about a specific theme. The event also serves as a networking session, and there will be food and beverage specials. Tonight's guest, John Ewing, the director of the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque and also the film curator at the Cleveland Museum of Art, will talk about "the secrets of speciality film exhibition." Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission is free. (Niesel)
