Has it really been nine years since Cleveland launched its first Fashion Week? It’s true: The annual convention and conference first strolled down the runway in 2004. Since then, it’s gone on to become one of the largest fashion weeks in the country, with an eight-day lineup of films, lectures, and workshops throughout the city. Plus, of course, there are the runway shows, the black-tie gala, and tonight’s new GlamJam, an multi-media extravaganza with music, dancers, performance artists, and a wearable-art runway show. The GlamJam party gets started at 8 p.m. in the Fountain Room of downtown’s Halle Building, 1212 Huron Rd. East. Tix are $10 at the door. Check out the website for a full schedule of events, which extend through May 12.
