Fall Convocation - featuring a keynote address by Paige Williams, author of The Dinosaur Artist
When: Wed., Aug. 28, 4:45-5:45 p.m. 2019
Case Western Reserve University invites the Cleveland community to join us for Fall Convocation as we launch the new academic year and hear Paige Williams discuss her work The Dinosaur Artist.
Paige Williams began writing for The New Yorker in 2013 and became a staff writer in 2015. Her subjects have spanned suburban politics, the death penalty, paleoanthropology, and more. In 2013, she wrote for the magazine about a smuggled dinosaur skeleton from the Gobi Desert in Mongolia; the story became the book The Dinosaur Artist: Obsession, Betrayal, and the Quest for Earth’s Ultimate Trophy.
