Facial Mapping Class with Ken Smith at BAYarts
A good likeness in portraiture is achieved with an accurately measured drawing. Using pencil or brush, we will locate the features o the sitter's face with what Smith calls "facial mapping". We will then apply the correct color notes and values keeping in mind hard and soft edges.
