Electric Orchestra

Miles Davis is one of the great jazz trumpet players of all time. He's best known for 1959's Kind of Blue, the best-selling jazz album ever. Later in his career, he experimented with rock and funk rhythms on albums such as Bitch's Brew, In a Silent Way, Tutu and Amandla. It's that period that the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra visits tonight in a program dubbed Cleveland Jazz Orchestra: Miles Goes Electric. The show starts at 8 at Kennedy's Theatre, and tickets are $25.
