Earth/Eagle Twin/Skebmo

Since beginning in 1990, Earth began with a drone metal sound that was so slow; glaciers could head-bang to it. The case is the same for their most recent album, Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light II, which shows how Earth has been gravitating less towards metal and more towards folk, country, and most dominantly, jazz. Chords are nearly absent on this record, as are vocals, so melodies and bass-lines get the spotlight. (Sam Mendez)
