Driving Miss Daisy

Written by Alfred Uhry, it tells the story of the unique relationship between an elderly, white woman, Daisy Werthran, and her black chauffeur, Hoke Colburn. Set in Atlanta during the 50s and 60s, the play takes audiences on a journey of prejudice, racism, but ultimately, understanding as Daisy comes to know Hoke as a person and a friend.
