Dobama Playwrights GYM Presents a Reading of DOWN BY CONTACT Written by: Les Hunter Directed by: Jocelyn Prince DOWN BY CONTACT tells the story of a former pro quarterback who in retirement struggles with the debilitating effects of CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy). The play is based on the lives of former football players and their families and embodies the onset of degenerative brain injury through increasingly expressionistic staging. The reading will run approximately two hours and is free and open to the public.
