Digital Artist Talk with Pamela Dodds: Queer Love and Belonging in a Fractured World
When: Fri., April 17, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. 2020
This digital talk is co-hosted by visual artist Pamela Dodds and the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland. Join via Zoom by following the link.
Dodds explores the complexities of human relationships through life-size paintings and relief printmaking. Her current exhibition, Something I Want to Tell You, is on view at 78th Street Studios and investigates tenuous moments of interaction—often reflecting broader socio-political narratives, such as interracial relationships and domestic violence.
Dodds will also discuss her prints, which investigate harmony and dissonance through paired women and non-binary figures. These works explore personal relationships as a microcosm of sociocultural landscapes.
